Staging Furniture and Logistics

What happens to the staging furniture if my home does not sell right away?

If a Flowers Team listing does not sell within the initial staging period, the situation is handled collaboratively between you, your Flowers Team agent, and our staging team.

If a Flowers Team listing does not sell within the initial staging period, the situation is handled collaboratively between you, your Flowers Team agent, and our staging team. You are never left to figure out next steps on your own. Here is how it typically works: The initial staging arrangement covers approximately 60 days, or until the home sells firm. For the majority of our listings, this window is more than sufficient. Our 2025 average days on market was 23.18 days, so most homes sell well within the initial period. When a home has not sold within the initial period, there are two paths. Some sellers choose to continue with staging in place, running on a month-to-month basis while the listing remains active. In these cases, Tara and your agent may also assess whether any staging adjustments could help reinvigorate buyer interest. Refreshing specific pieces or rotating accessories costs nothing extra and can meaningfully change how buyers respond to a property that has been sitting. Other sellers choose to have the staging removed while the listing continues. We still have all of the marketing, the listing photos, and the videos in place, and in some cases removing staging is the right call based on the seller's circumstances. This decision is made together with your agent and our staging team, and we will always give you an honest recommendation based on what is best for your specific situation. Throughout the extended listing period, Flowers Team is flexible and works with your timeline and circumstances. Contact Flowers Team Real Estate to discuss your options and how we manage extended listing scenarios.
