How do staging and professional photography work together?
Staging and professional photography are two parts of the same marketing strategy, and at Flowers Team Real Estate, they are designed to work together intentionally. Tara Llewellyn stages every home with the photographer's lens in mind, and our photography team comes to know exactly how Tara sets up a space so they can capture every intentional moment she has created.
Here is how the two work together in practice:
Tara thinks about photography throughout the staging process. As she walks through a property and designs the look of each room, she is simultaneously mapping out where the photographer will stand and what angle they will want to capture. Every sofa placement, every headboard position, every vignette on a console table is designed with a specific shot in mind.
Wide corner shots are the default photography angle in most rooms. Tara stages for those angles: the rug is fully visible, the furniture arrangement reads clearly, and nothing awkward falls in the foreground of the shot.
Sight lines are carefully considered. In the primary bedroom, the headboard placement is determined by where the window will appear in the photograph. In hallways, Tara always places a chair or a visual anchor at the end of the corridor because she knows the photographer will capture that sight line.
On stage day, both Tara and our photographer are on-site. The staging is completed first, followed by the professional cleaner, and then photography begins. The photographer captures the home in the precise condition Tara has designed, and the result is listing photos that feel curated, warm, and beautiful because every detail in them was intentional.
The staging and photography process is outlined in full on our home staging page.
This coordination between staging and photography is what produces the online listing performance Flowers Team consistently delivers. Staged listings get more views, hold buyers' attention longer per photo, and generate more showing requests. It all starts with staging and photography working as a unified system.
