Day 7 - Gingerbread Day!

Run run as fast as you can… it’s gingerbread man Day! The BEST Christmas cookie has to be Gingerbread. You can make houses, people – all sorts of gingerbread fun! Decorating is the most fun part!

We know that not all kids love the taste of gingerbread so we found this kid-friendly gingerbread recipe to help you make your own gingerbread creations – that you will also love to eat!

Here’s a fun game “Roll a Gingerbread Man” – it’s a race to make a gingerbread man – no baking required! Grab a friend, a few pieces of paper and one game die.

Each player can only draw one piece of his Gingerbread Man at a time. On your turn, roll the die and draw that number’s part of your Gingerbread Man. If you roll a number you have already rolled, you lose your turn. The first player to draw the entire Gingerbread Man wins! Now colour them in for extra fun!

Here’s a fun way to make an easy no-bake Gingerbread house – Pop Tarts! This recipe uses Pop Tarts instead of gingerbread to save time. They're thick, like gingerbread cookies, and easy to cut into the right shape. And best of all, they mostly already come frosted! Check it out!
