The Town of Milton Council is hosting a New Year’s Day Levee on Wednesday, January 1st from 1 to 3 pm at Milton Town Hall (150 Mary Street). You are warmly invited to come and exchange New Year’s wishes with Mayor Gord Krantz and Councillors.
Enjoy tasty desserts (courtesy of La Rose Specialty Foods and Fine Italian Bakery – Milton, Ontario), finger foods and fresh coffee (provided by Tim Hortons) as your Councillors cheerfully serve you!

A special treat awaits you and your family – once the hustle and bustle of the day is over and you have time to relax and enjoy the school holiday with your family.
Step back in time to 1899 to see how an early settler family celebrated the season. You will learn about why and how some of the traditions started and continue to this day.
There will be house tours, crafts, refreshments, music and storytime.
Plan to spend around 2 hours enjoying all the activities.
No additional charge to participate — after the purchase of park daily vehicle permit. Food and beverages are extra.

Protecting Our Winter Wonderland!
Children 8-12 years of age are invited to register for one or more of our “Little Thinkers, Big Questions” workshop, and find fantastic new ways to play with ideas.
Led by an award-winning author and educator, each workshop features a different theme, open-ended discussion, and a creative, hands-on activity. All participants will be given fun take-home resources that will keep the conversation going around the dinner table, on the way to lessons, and at bedtime.
