Winter Sleigh Rides at Mountsberg

Enjoy the thrill of a brisk winter sleigh ride followed by hot chocolate and marshmallows around a campfire….

Owl Prowl

This popular program provides insight into the mysterious lives of Ontario’s Magestic Owls. A hike through the crisp winter night to search for owls and a “nose to beak” visit with Mountsberg’s resident raptors gives guests an experience not easily forgotten. Adult and family nights are offered. Pre-registration is required.

Coldest Night of the Year Launch Party

Take action on January 20th! Join the Coldest Night of the Year Launch Party – hosted by Milton Transitional Housing. Games, Crafts, Giveaways, and more! Fairy Tale Friday – Me & My Doll Party – Hosted by So Charming

Children will be able to participate in a variety of dress up activities, nail polish, simple face paint, arts and crafts, dancing and our signature themed Tea Party along side their favourite character. Children also collect great Take Home Bags too!

Lego Lovers Event

The Milton Monkeys Kids’ Club will be starting off 2018 with one of everyone’s favourite activities – LEGO! There will be building contests, treats, games and even a custom Lego Bank to take home.

Supplies are limited to the first 150 children. The Kids’ Club is open to children ages 4 to 12 and is free of charge.

Cineplex Family Favourite – Emoji Movie

Join us on Saturday mornings at 11am for Cineplex Family Favourites. Watch a family favourite film each week for only $2.99. A portion of the proceeds goes towards supporting WE Charity. It’s a fun and affordable way to enjoy the weekend with your family!

Evening Moonlight Snowshoe Hike

Discover the magic of winter at night, the snow illuminated by moonlight and the stars bright in the night sky. Your guide will lead you on a snowshoe hike through this beautiful landscape. The evening will end fireside with some tasty hot chocolate. Not recommended for children under the age of 10. Pre-registration required.

Terra Winter Market

TERRA offers a fully enclosed and heated space for the market experience in both Hamilton and Milton locations on Saturday’s from January 13th – March 17th. The Winter Markets hosts over 70+ in Milton and 50+ vendors in Hamilton that will promote baked goods, produce, meats, cheeses and wines from neighbouring farms. The market will also host a series of artisans whom have crafted items for consumers and their homes.

TERRA decided to start the market in support of local business and farms to increase healthy lifestyles by providing the community with the necessary connection to local food producers over the winter months. The Winter Market will also provide social opportunities for people to connect with neighbours, friends and acquaintances in a comfortable and fun atmosphere.
